Reinstatements
This gives a summary of how reinstatements are handled with HubSpot automation
Reinstated Accounts that already exist in HubSpot and have a previous Deal:
- When you want to Reinstate an Account, edit these two properties:
- "Change Type" = "Reinstate"
- Clear NS DROP DATE
- When the Account property "Change Type" is "Reinstate" and the NS Drop Date is "unknown," this workflow will retrieve the most recent Deal and change the Deal stage to "Active." It will also change the Account STATUS to "Active."
- If a Renewal Deal needs to be generated, then the property "Run workflow to create Renewal Deal" needs to be set to "Yes" (checked) on the Account. Changing this property will immediately send the Account through this workflow: https://app.hubspot.com/workflows/40211458/platform/flow/1654378569/edit
- Alternatively, you can enroll single Accounts directly in this one-off manual workflow if you prefer. They perform the same functions: https://app.hubspot.com/workflows/40211458/platform/flow/1696076462/edit

Segmenting Reinstatements
To view reinstatements that happened after we generated batch letters, we'll need to update the date property on this segment with each round of renewals:
